Sadguru Awahan Peethadishwar Acharya Mahamadleshwar Shri 108 Dr. Swami Shivendra Puriji Maharaj was born on 21st August 1933.

In 1960 Guruji became disciple of Vyakaran Vedantacharya Bramhaleen Shri 108 Swami Onkaranand Puriji Maharaj, he then became fanous as Brahmachari Shri Shiv Chainatya. While performing seva he studied in detail VEDANT and VAIDIK Shashtras and started visiting various places around world preaching hindu religion and culture..

Guruji completed M.A. in Economics from Varanasi University, then from Merut University accomplished M.A. in Hindi, L.L.B from Delhi University. Later from Allahabad achieved Sahitya Ratna and Shastri in Sanskrit from Kashi.
Guruji along with studies of hindu culture and preachings of hindu culture actively took interest in holy rituals of Guru Parampara Dashnani Sanyasi Sampraday.

In 1971 during Ardhakumbh at Prayagraj Guruji was awarded as Shri-Mahant of Shri Panch Agni Akhada. After sad demise of Badey Maharaj he undertook Sanyas since then became famous as Swami Shivendra Puriji Maharaj. Then was awarded as Mahamandaleshwar of Shri Panch Dashnaam Juna Aakhada which later in 1995 at the eve of Ardhkumbh at Prayagraj he was awarded as Acharya.

He carried forward the Yagya Parampara started by Vyakaran Vedantacharya Bramhaleen Shri 108 Swami Onkaranand Puriji Maharaj by performing Maharudra yagya every year. Also added a new dimension by performing Ati-Rudra at various Jyotirlinga shrines and other Teerth Holy Shrines. The first Ati-Rudra was performed in 1987 at Dashera Ground, Ulhasnagar.

Ati-Rudra have been performed at Ulhasnagar, Rameshwaram, Trimbakeshwar(Nasik), Somnath(Gujarat), Mahakaleshwar(Ujjain), Kashi-Vishwanath(Varanasi), Bhimashanker(MAH), Kathmandu(Nepal), Kedareshwar(HP), Ghrushneshwar(MAH), Onkareshwar(Indore), Haridwar(Daksheshwar), Ludhiana(Punjab), Prayagraj(Allahabad), DiyanathMahadev(Jaunpar), Moteshwar Mahadev Kashipur(Uttarakhand), Jagannath Puri(Odisha), Dwarka(Gujurat), Pushkar(Rajashthan)

Guruji established International Youth Club (IYC) with the vision of global brotherhood to conglomerate youth in India and abroad undertaking various activities helping orphans, poor, reducing differences of caste, creed.
